Absolutely incredible place to stay with fabulous staff and bright rooms. the location excellent and beautiful on the mountains. the breakfasts with Banana & Honey are delicious. Just off the jungle, the garden and restaurants are easily accessible.

The general areas were well-maintained and had a peaceful ambiance that was perfect for relaxation. As a senior woman, I appreciated how accessible the hotel was, with easy navigation and no stairs to climb. It was comforting to know that everything was designed with our comfort and convenience in mind.

We stayed at Saffron Eco Cottage for a week and it was an incredible experience. The owners were the kindest, most helpful people we've ever met. The location was perfect, offering a peaceful and quiet atmosphere while still being easily accessible to town. The views from our balcony were breathtaking, and we even had the pleasure of seeing wild animals like deers and chipmunks. The room was clean and comfortable, with thoughtful amenities like a mosquito net and proper lighting. The breakfast made by Sapu's wife was the best we had in Sri Lanka. We highly recommend this place, as everything exceeded our expectations.

The double room at Saffron Eco Cottage was simply amazing! I loved having my morning coffee on the balcony, overlooking the lush greenery. The minibar was a nice touch too, perfect for keeping my drinks chilled. And having an electric kettle? Such a convenience for a tea lover like me!

Honestly, the only thing I didn't quite enjoy was the size of the bathroom. It felt a bit cramped for my liking.
